Too noisy ,with demolition next door Could not sleep.

breakfast was excellent

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. It was noisy with construction going on next door. It was not very clean and the staff were not very helpful when asked what to do in the area. Very disappointing indeed

We stayed the night before and after a 3 day tour of Isle of Skye where we were picked up in Glasgow. The hotel was modest but perfect for our needs. Convenient, mostly walkable location, very close to the bus and train stations, excellent food at the restaurant next door. On our second night we got in too late to go to the restaurant but were able to grab take away and sit at the hotel’s simple bar and eat. Breakfast was great. Staff were all very helpful.

We asked if we could have a late check out, and they said yes and wrote it down in a book. They did say that we needed to call the morning to confirm. When my daughter did they told her to be out at 11. Normal check-out time. A little disappointed. Everything else was good.

Hotel is well located, very close to bus station & Queen Street Station & City Centre.Room clean & comfortable. Good breakfast - well stocked. Issue with lifts being on & off during our stay but need the exercise so not a problem for us. Staff all friendly.

Staff were really helpful and responsive. Parking is so handy being directly across the road and easy to find. The location is ideal for exploring the city centre. The rooms were a good size, had all that you require (iron/hairdryer/toiletries). The bed/pillows are a little too hard for my preference but I slept ok. The blackout curtains were really good and for being in the city centre it was reasonably quiet. Breakfast was a disappointment. Cereal/pastries were ok and bread available to make toast. The cooked breakfast items were not nice (bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs). Sausages were colder than I would like but were ok. As hotel was busy, it felt chaotic at popular breakfast times. I would consider booking again though.
