A basic apart-hotel. Pros: reasonable price and good location. Cons: room a bit scruffy (some holes in bedding, marks on walls etc), only basic cooking equipment. Recommend for short stays only.

Great location, walking distance of the train station, restaurants, cafés, pastry shops and beach. The kitchenette was a nice bonus for keeping drinks cold and having breakfast on site. Few coffee pods and tea bags would have been appreciated. Good windows, curtains and blinds also help keep the heat out during the day. However, there are a few things to know, especially in summer. The bedroom is upstairs in the attic, with only roof windows (skylights). To get fresh air, you need to open the windows, but then the room fills with daylight very early. If you close the blinds to sleep, the room becomes too warm. There is an AC unit, but it was not working during our stay. Reception pointed out that AC was not listed as an amenity and offered a fan instead. While technically true, the presence of an AC unit suggests it is needed in summer and unfortunately it had not been repaired. As an attic room, headroom is limited and we bumped our heads several times. The “double bed” is actually two twin beds pushed together, each with its own mattress, sheets and duvet. The bathroom is also somewhat inconvenient: the shower is in a bathtub, the shower head is not mounted and must be held by hand, and there is no shower curtain. The toilet is downstairs, so nighttime trips involve navigating low ceilings in the dark, steep and creaky stairs with no handrail. Overall, still a good rental in an excellent location, but guests should know what to expect, particularly during warmer weather.

1. Checkin was terrible. We, 3 families, arrived to the hotel at 12:45 to put the luggage only, but the hotel was closed. The reception have to work from 08:00 to 18:00. Only at 15:00 the reception opened and we made the checkin. 2. The WiFi didn't worked all the time. The reception tried to restart the router but without success. 3. The breakfast was fresh and very good

The balcony was great.

Room is smaller than advertised, A/C does not work and room is dingy. Staff is never present.

Be aware low beds, no bath curtains so water will get everywhere, missing sink stopper, i almost lost one earing and when i approached the manager instead of i am sorry and we will take care of it, he said my apartment is the same, i don’t have shower curtain.

The room was clean but the layout was unusual. The little kitchenette and 2 piece toilet were on the lower floor, the bedroom and shower and sink were up a very steep set of stairs.. We wre retired and the bathroom was too far down those stairs in the night.

The hotel building is old but functional. Its location is wonderful, easy walk to the beach, pastry shop and supermarket. It's spacious, more than 300 sq feet. Kitchen is well equipped. It has some unpleasant surprises, though. It requires the guests to clean the dishes used in the kitchen upon check out, else there will be a penalty charge. Yet, it does not provide any kitchen cleaning supply. These supply costs €6 to purchase from the front desk. It also requires the guests to dump the trash and recyclable items upon check out, else there will be a charge. The bin to throw away the glasses are 5 minutes walking distance away, but no clear instruction, such as a map, is given. In the Expedia description, it is stated there is luggage service provided. However, the front desk is closed between 12 noon to 3 pm. Guest can't retrieve any luggage during that time. If the hotel management can improve upon these areas, it will be a much more desirable hotel. Right now, I give it a 3.5 stars on the strength of its great location.
