We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. The restaurant is very good, the staff is pleasant, and the view is stunning.

The restaurant was fantastic as was the breakfast. The location is off the beaten path and it definitely helps a person slow down and unwind! Grounds are gorgeous and very inviting. The staff were also very kind and accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

So beautiful and restorative! Spa and dining were superb. The staff is happy and so kind. This was just what I needed! The countryside and the rooms were incredible! I loved everything about my stay here. I walked out feeling completely rejuvenated!! I will come back! ❤️

We had a great stay at Borgo San Faustino. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was amazing. The views from the property were stunning.

We were shocked at the condition of the property based on the resorts rating. We came the last week in May and the pool was not clean, the hot tub was not clean or on and the sauna wasn’t on either. No staff was to be found anywhere. We tried going into the spa- no one was there. We tried going into the dinner room at 7:30 (when dinner was suppose to start) no one was there. The property has bugs flying all around it. I understand the area is a little more rugged but it was hard to relax when the patio furniture has seen better days, you have no towels to use, no one to order a drink or get water from and there are bugs flying everywhere. The room and sheets were clean and the area was beautiful but we were honestly creeped out by the property and lack of upkeep. We were suppose to stay two nights and decided to leave a day early.

We were hoping for a nice country Relais...Borgo San Faustino was beyond our expectations. What a beautiful location with views for days and days. The property is authentic old-world charm with interesting ruins on the property. Beds were comfortable and our two dinners on the property were delicious! The staff helped us with all of our needs.

Lovely countryside location.

Lovely location in the Umbria with a great view. Room was okay but maybe a little tired. The pool area is a great area to relax and enjoys the vista. The spa itself was a little disappointing and was not included in the price of the room, at 25 EU per person per hour it is not good value.

Property is very nice but tired. everything needs a bit of improvement, paint, bathroom facitilities.
