So glad I booked this place! It felt home away from home for this solo traveler. You had the privacy of your own studio but could go into the home and feel welcomed. Breakfast was such a fun experience with the food and other guests. Fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and freshly cut up fruit were my favorite! Beds were comfortable, slept good. Location was amazing for all the site seeing. I rented a car and it was short 5 to 20-30 min drives to all the great outdoor sites and events. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about this cute Bed and Breakfast!

My stay here as a solo traveler was the best decision I made for my trip. Dave and Shami were so friendly, kind, welcoming, and just genuinely good people. The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. I absolutely plan to come back again and recommend this place to anyone passing through Rotorua.

The ensuite room we stayed in had lovely views out over Rotorua and was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The hosts Dave and Shami were very welcoming with plenty of suggestions for things to do in the local area. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of meats, cheeses and chutneys as well as different types of bread and an excellent fresh fruit salad. The location is a little outside the centre of Rotorua but provided a great base for exploring the area.

I had the sweetest stay at Shami and Dave’s home. It was exactly what I needed and in the perfect location. The breakfast provided was so nourishing and fresh. As well, the rooms are so so cozy and make you feel right at home. It’s also close to so many activities and beautiful scenery. I will definitely stay here again when back in Rotorua!

Dave was lovely and very hospitable. He offered some great insight into the region and his suggestions for sights to see. The room was nice and spacious. Bathroom is excellent with heated floor.

Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff. Building a bit dated and noisy because we were at the basement right under the kitchen.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Geyser Lookout B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They live on site and are both very friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to ensure every guest has an excellent stay. Our room was wonderful, with a very large bathroom that felt very spacious. One of the highlights was having our own deck overlooking one of the active geysers at a distance. The breakfast was phenomenal and the best we’ve ever had. The selection was more like what you would expect in one of the finest hotels, with fresh fruits, salmon, breads, spreads, and so much more. Everything was beautifully presented, fresh, and incredibly generous. This is a special place with exceptional hosts, beautiful rooms, and an outstanding breakfast. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The couple running the BnB were friendly and made our stay very pleasant! The breakfast was amazing!
