It was a great experience

For a budget hotel, this one is excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious too.

Was a nice spacious room with comfortable beds. Shower was not very hot so a little disappointed. Ok for 1 night

Helpful and friendly staff

We were very happy with the state of the room. We particularly found all the staff at reception friendly, helpful and efficient. We loved going to the tekka each morning for breakfast. Transport was also a big plus as it was so close by. We will certainly be returning to ibis on our next trip to Singapore.

Plenty of shops and food outlets Be mindful that rooms in Singapore are generally smaller than what we are used to in Australia. But rooms are clean and tidy which is all we want

This hotel has a great pool on the rooftop but that's where the positives end. I have often booked Ibis Budget hotels in Europe as they offer good value for money without compromising on comfortable rooms and a good but basic breakfast. I'm therefore sorry to say that the standards in Singapore Ibis Budgets are much lower. I was given a room without any windows that was also tiny and had thin walls that meant I was able to hear people in other rooms going to the shower and toilet. I would have asked to change the room but it was late and I wanted to get straight out for something to eat before everywhere closed. If the hotel has rooms without windows, people should be given the choice when booking if they are prepared to accept this and pay extra if required but this wasn't an option. Breakfast was also poor with poor hot options and tasteless bread and poor coffee and orange juice. I would not recommend this area either as there is very little going on in the evening. It would be better to pay a bit more to stay nearer to the marina.

Clean room but a bit complicated to walk from MRT station to the hotel for the first time.
