Definitely NEED better maintenance and up keep

The staff of male constantly told me he is not working when that day was Saturday the Shabbat stated, but before that Shabbat started, a woman staff did not give the key that can open the front door, she also didn’t give me the door code to open the door. Nor even tell me the coffee was available. Shabbat is not something that couldn’t simply answer question by one few words if you operate a hostel business for public to use it in Shabbat time. At least the person of male should not be in business if he would declare he is the person would keep observation as Shabbat request. The problem is you can keep to observe the rules of Shabbat, then you should ask the management to arrange others to cover, or you make note your hotel in Shabbat with no service for guests. You could not take guests with money while no service for services.

One of the staff was rude. She was very rushing us even though we getting out on time for check out. I understand people have job but think and look before you say something.

Clean restroom, hot water, free coffee, easy check in/out

In my honest view and experience as a guest for 15 nights (mini capsule) in January 2026, this hostel would pass as nearly "average" for its shared communal facilities and reception staff hospitality. No windows to see sunshine on waking mornings. Be very careful not to be "lured" by the reception manager into a presumed "affordable" "deal" if you book directly with them (outside of Expedia) to either extend your stay or return to stay. If you do and you pay a deposit and your plans change, and you CANCEL & REQUEST A REFUND with reasonable advance notice, YOUR MONEY IS GONE FOREVER! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

Absolutely impeccable customer service. The front desk attendant was enthusiastically dedicated to ensuring I had a nice stay.

Amazing room and staff! Felt so welcome! There was only one review on Expedia when I booked it but there are hundreds of reviews on other sites that are near 5 stars and I couldn’t agree more! I’ll be back next time I’m in Jerusalem.

Really FABULOUS Place for the $. Location location location Great staff. TYSM, Ran and Rebecca for making it such a warm Atmosphere and “Home Away from Home “ feeling (and really feelingat Home in Yerushalayim). Will be back real soon IYH!
