On arrival we had booked via the hotel a taxi, which due to the new customs and passport control, meant he could not wait for us ! We still got charged OK, understand that. The room we had did not have a phone so unable to contact reception staff, then the plug in the bath would not let the water escape, so a member of the reception did a temporary repair. We were then moved after a couple of days to a room which we had supposedly booked ? Which had only a shower, several light fixtures were broken and it just looked as though there was no care. Also we booked the hotel as it had a roof terrace and bar, on our first night we were told no bar, so no after dinner drinks for us. I’m just not sure they understood what was happening, so unfortunately I cannot give them a good review.

This is a very quaint and quiet boutique hotel overlooking a Bernini fountain in a lovely Piazza. Breakfast was included, and enough to last until dinner. It was served on a rooftop patio that was sunny and lovely. The roof was well appointed. It was a good location and a perfect choice to complement the hectic pace of Rome.

Everyone was extremely helpful with everything we needed! It was centrally located and a beautiful place to stay! Daytime and night! Right in Palazzo Barberini! Metro stop, pharmacy, grocery, restaurants, shops, etc just outside your door!!

Overall very good. Breakfast could have been better.

Lovely boutique hotel in a fabulous location Super breakfast on the terrace. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Good to have the Metro so close and a great choice of restaurants nearby. All in all an amazing stay.

Palazzo Caruso is a lovely hotel, in the heart of Rome…close to so many monuments and sights. The staff, Jino and Louisa are the best…warm, friendly, caring and helpful. While we did not have breakfast in the hotel (we have in prior visits)….it is very fresh and plentiful. Our room was beautifully appointed and clean. It was very cold in Rome this January, but the Palazzo Caruso heating system was wonderful and kept us warm and cozy when in our room. Whenever in Roma….we will stay at the Palazzo Caruso on Barberini Piazza. Thank you for a wonderful experience in the Eternal City.

Nice, friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location. Metro and bus station very close.
