Cat Ba Countryside Homestay

The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs and even a radio broadcasting in the mornings, as well as karaoke from a nearby establishment at night so it wasn't as peaceful as we were led to believe. Having said that, the hosts were lovely and very helpful with booking transport and activities. Food selection was good and they were able to accommodate our need for gluten and dairy free meals. It was a pleasant stay but we would choose a different location next time.

Hyggeligt homestay, vildt søde værter!!

Le personnel très gentil et aidant pour les activités et le transport.
