This version should fit within most hotel review character limits while remaining detailed, balanced, and professional: We selected this hotel after carefully reviewing the online photos and guest reviews, but unfortunately the reality did not match what was advertised. First, the positives: the bed and bedding were very comfortable, the rain shower head provided excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water, and the room, towels, and linens appeared clean. The check-in office was spotless and updated, the few staff members we encountered were professional and courteous, and the pool was a nice size. Unfortunately, our concerns began the moment we parked. While the office area looked great, the remainder of the property appeared neglected and in need of significant maintenance. The hallways and stairwells had some of the dirtiest, most worn carpeting I have seen in a hotel. Thankfully, the rooms had tile flooring instead of carpet. Our room showed numerous signs of deferred maintenance. The bathroom sink leaked underneath and left water covering part of the floor. There was visible rust on the bathtub and bathroom light fixture. The kitchenette was extremely outdated, and the closet doors were cheap, damaged, and missing trim. Even small details, such as phones still showing remnants of old Days Inn stickers, reinforced the feeling that the property had not been properly updated in years. I reserved 2 patio oceanfront rooms, I did not get those rooms. We was there from Tuesday-Sunday and our bed was not changed at all,we would leave so they could have done it. We took care of our own garbage also. The very nice gentleman did however stop to see if we needed towels when he was there working

Everything was great except the parking lot, not enough parking for the amount of people

Breakfast was muffins yogurt and orange juice or coffee not much to choose from office ladies had attitudes when you asked for stuff they never gave us wifi password. Allow people to puke in parkimg.lot and parties to go on all night with drinking

It was right off the beach which was nice and the ac worked good. The Microwave was not clean and the fridge had finger prints on the outside. Low shower pressure. I still enjoyed my stay.

Had to check out & leave a day early, the young man stated he did not know how to issue a credit for the last night that I was NOT staying, but had me call later when I got home. Had to call twice before I got an answer from the MANAGER "there would be NO credit given ~ didn't care if I notified the desk of me leaving or not. Will NOT be back!!!!

No one was at the desk when we arrived around 4 P.M. After waiting for a while, my husband sat at the desk and used the phone to call in to the office and someone finally came out LOL The breakfast consist of old muffins and green bananas. They never cleaned our room only took the used towels & wash clothes. We will not be staying here again.

Although the outside areas and pool were well maintained, did have some other issues. The water faucet in the bathtub was loose, the knob for hot/cold was reversed. At check-in no one was around. They had a gray item stating to push the contact button and someone would arrive. Vending area only had a ice machine and washer/dryer, located in the parking area. No vending machines whatsoever. Hallway HVAC systems were not turned on (must be saving money). Believe family members were living on the premises. Although the refrigerator was large, a top shelf was missing (glass). Freezer area was dirty.

I was pleasantly surprised with the location and price for the hotel. Great view, nice rooms, loved the pool. We will stay again in the future for sure.
