The standard room was nice, but the suite was exceptional: the huge windows, spacious marble bath, and super comfy bed. Proximity to Liverpool Street Station was very convenient.

A fabulous hotel in a great location . Staff are very friendly, efficient and so helpful. A relaxed atmosphere and very tastefully decorated.

Location is ok and the hotel is generally clean and well presented however to be woken up by a cleaner at 9am when checkout is 12pm is totally unacceptable. A bathroom with no where to hang towels or robes is only a detail but I didn’t feel the price of the room was justified. A shaving point in the bathroom which was totally inaccessible is just another little detail that hasn’t been thought about. Staff were ok not great, just ok and didn’t seem to care that we had been woken by the cleaner knocking our door.

Excellent hotel

I arrived at around 2.30pm after a long train journey and wanted to shower and change before going to lunch and then a concert. I was told my room was ready but that hotel policy wouldn't allow me to check in until 3pm. I had to change in the bar toilet. On my return to the hotel at around 10.30pm (the night of England v Mexico) the bar was shut, ridiculous. I was then allocated a room where they said my luggage was and surprise surprise, it wasn't in the room. Because they don't have phones in their rooms (why?) I had to go back to reception from the 5th floor to ask where my luggage was. After searching the luggage room they found it in their office (why?). Back at my room I was about to shower and a guy just walked into my room. An American tourist who had been given a key to my room. If I was a woman I would have called the police. Luckily he was as surprised as me and apologised and left. I phoned the external hotel line (no phone in room) to vent my frustration and concern. I asked to see the Manager in the morning who apologised. That was it. Is that really how you deal with as serious situation as letting a stranger into someone's occupied room never mind the rest of the inconvenience I experienced during my stay??

Really stylish hotel in a super convenient location, just 2 mins walk from Liverpool Street station. The complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely surprise, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever stayed in! Only stayed one night but would definitely return :)

The room was spotless and felt very high-end. Loved the style of the entire place and it felt like a little oasis in the heart of London. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The complimentary drink on arrival was a really lovely touch. All in all, this might just be my new favourite London hotel!

Most comfortable bed I have had in an equivalent hotel, nice coffee machine too.
