They did not respond to messages so we were unable to check in and had to book another hotel

Terrible hotel! Terrible communication and service!! Do not book here. I booked and paid for a 5 day stay. Then they contacted me via Expedia message and said they were overbooked and canceled my reservation without giving me a refund. I thought it was a mistake because I was able to book my reservation and they took my money. However, they wouldn’t give me any check in details and ghosted me. I tried to get my money back through Expedia but they are also giving me the runaround. I have had to explain my story multiple times and have gotten nowhere! I had to change my vacation plans and cancel my visit to Busan. I am wasting so much valuable vacation time and energy having to deal with this nightmare. This is an untrustworthy hotel. Who allows you to book a reservation, pay for a hotel and cancels it by messaging without giving your money back? Do not book here unless you want this to happen to you. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Okay for a short stopover, but we ended up moving At around 40,000 to 50,000 KRW, you get what you pay for. It’s an okay choice if you just want to drop your bags and sleep for a night. But for our 2-night trip, it wasn't comfortable enough. I brought our luggage in, took a short rest, and immediately booked the Ramada Haeundae to move there instead.

Friendly staff

It was impossible to contact the property management. It seems like they believe that they had the perfect system so all they need to do is giving out check in and check out information. They need to have bigger towels also.

The location of the hotel was great, close to the beach and metro station. There are many of good restaurant option nearby.

The room and location were actually great. Clean, spacious, and near markets, restaurants, and attractions. HOWEVER this is not set up for international tourists. It is likely meant moreso for other korean tourists. They have extra fees (well labeled, so the fees are NOT the issue) such as laundry, kitchen, and extra bedding, but the only way to pay these fees is through a bank transfer. Cash is not accepted and credit cards do not work (we tried 3 that worked everywhere else, all failed here). That means you either need access to a korean bank account or willing to pay additional bank fees to do an international wire transfer for something small like a 20000 won fee. Again, having additional fees were not the problem, but the inability for international visitors to easily pay those fees caused a lot of headache for us.

While there was no staff or housekeeping available throughout my stay, the room was quite spacious and had no mold or significant scuff marks, no smoke smells. The TV was great - had Netflix, Youtube, Disney+, and had its own kitchen and washer/dryer. Great room for a very small price. You do need to follow certain instructions after reservation in order to gain access to the room, though, but I followed them carefully and got in. Hope this review helps a lot to the budget-friendly traveller!

The good: The location is great, steps to the beach and close to many shops, public transit, and restaurants. In-unit laundry and kitchenette are useful to have. The bad: we booked a room with two beds, but our room only had one. The owner did not reach out to communicate this before check-in. The rules basically prohibited cooking anything with any smell at all, so the stove was useless. The owner offers cash for a good review, so keep that in mind when reading reviews.
