普瑞玛酒店钟路仁寺洞 (The Prima Hotel Jongno Insadong)

Very nice hotel with laundry and microwave on the second floor. The breakfast was not worth including but overall great hotel and very clean.

Overall experience was very convenient for the one night stayed. Staff were helpful and rooms were cleaned.

Easy access to public transit. Close to so many sight seeing and shopping places. The staffs were all very courteous and nice. I would go back there again. CU convenient store is right outside for late night snacks and recharging transit card or emergency items you might need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff are kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are quiet, clean and provide enough space to be comfortable. We had the breakfast one day and it included a decent variety of Korean and western dishes. The hotel is conveniently located near train stations and bus stops and walkable to many popular cafes, restaurants and areas including Insadong, Bukchon Hanok village, the pocha streets in Jongno, and the Gyeongbokgung Palace. We will likely stay again at Prima when we return to Seoul.

Tiny rooms with no views, nowhere to put suitcases, no wardrobe just hangers on some hooks. Huge bed far too big for a small room, my husband had to walk sideways around pressed up against the wall to get in and out…terrible design. At night there were so many lights illuminated in the dark that you could do nothing about; air conditioning had bright power lights directly above the bed, three sets of 4 light switches all glowed at night including the one right in the middle of the bed where you sleep. The tv switch glowed and there was a glow behind the tv. Another glowing light in a corner and worst of all a really bright motion sensor ceiling light so any time you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night it lit up the whole room waking the other person up. Overpriced for such a small room. Most of the staff were great but one woman on reception wasn’t friendly…didn’t greet us when we checked in the second time for end of our trip, just looked at us and said “check in?” no smile, nothing. Massive lobby, tiny cramped room. Ridiculous design. Hotel designers should be made to sleep in the rooms they’re trying to design. Cannot recommend this place.

Room was very small. Location was very convenient

The location was excellent. I was able to walk to many historic and shopping areas. There is also a very close train station. The breakfast was superb.

Quiet and clean hotel. Close to train and bus routes. Insadong is just behind the hotel.

The hotel was very good. The lobby and rooms were very clean. On site laundry machines are a life saver! Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially since there was a language barrier with Korean and English. They helped us navigate the area, gave good directions on uber drivers. The hotel location was situated in a very safe spot, I felt very safe walking around at all hours of the day and night. A lot of good restaurants to choose from. The surrounding area wasn’t overly busy like other well known areas, which was perfect because it gave you a little bit of break from the busyness of the city. You were just a few blocks away from the Cheonggyecheon river walk so it was easy and quite peaceful to be close to. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Seoul.

Great location for all the touristy activities, friendly staff from front desk to housekeeper. Machine out in front entrance to exchange Korean won and refund the taxes on certain spendings. Convenience store next door for drinks, snacks and to top up the public transportation Tmoney card.
