This was a dream place to stay while in Barcelona. We loved the location, the room was amazing, clean and inviting, and we really enjoyed exploring the rooftop gardens where Picasso worked. The breakfast was so delicious. We’d love to stay here again!

Wonderful stay! Clean and so cute. Perfect location near the gothic quarter and beach. Very walkable.

Absolutely no complaints - a boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and staff were really helpful. I was told Picasso once stayed in this building!

Breakfast was great. No elevator was a drawback. Stairs are steep and narrow

Room is clean but small. Bed and pillows are excellent. It would help to have luggage racks especailly if you have large suitcases. We had to open ours up on the floor. Bath towels are very small. Could also have some shelving in the bathrooms instead of towels on a bench. Sink and shower are very small. Too many air freshners if you are allergic to perfume. Continental breakfast is simple and $12 Euros. Be aware you have to lug your luggage up two flights of very narrow and steep stairs! Can be scary coming down with a large heavy suitcase. It's a nice place but not a hotel. More of a bed and breakfast place.

This was our second time staying at Porxos.

Our room was beautiful with plenty of amenities. The common area had lovely desserts for us to enjoy along with coffee and tea and sweets. The staff was super helpful and kind. Huge plus, within walking distance to marina, metro station and a museum. We truly enjoyed our stay so much!

What an incredible refuge in Barcelona! The location is perfect. We were adjacent to the Gothic Quarter, and across from the yacht harbor. Spectacular. Above all, the service level was shockingly great. We were treated like royalty - not like indulgent Americans, but like appreciated family. We could not have possibly asked for anything more. The experience was gracious, patient, upscale and luxurious. Thank you for supplying an excellent home base for us in your beautiful city!
