(Mahalaya The Legacy Solo)

I loved staying at the Mahalaya Hotel in Solo. The staff are all so friendly yet professional, the rooms spacious and quiet, the breakfast delicious and the location super convenient. The pool is an added bonus. Many other reviewers noted the swimming lessons that are conducted in the pool and how these seem to take over the area when they're on. During my stay, yes, there were classes on but not all the time, which meant that there were also times I was able to enjoy the pool all to myself. Running these classes is clearly a business model that is working for the hotel but it's also important to remember that learning how to swim is a vital skill for children to have. I applaud the hotel for giving children this opportunity. Looking forward to staying here on my next visit to Solo.

We had a great stay in Solo. The hotel is very luxureous, with a pool and restaurant. The reception helped us with a driver to visit the tea plantation area in Kemuning. There is a nice Indonesian restaurant Djampi Jawi just opposite the hotel.

It was a perfect and enjoyable weekend get away break. The hotel is charming and comfortable.
