While this is a beautiful old hotel, it does come with some issues. The HVAC in our room did not work. We asked 3 times to get fixed. Luckily the windows can open but the street noise was very loud. The shower was nice but water splashed everywhere due to the small glass door and very slippery. Dated but full of charm. Not a 5 star but perhaps a 4.

The Staff of The Hotel Windsor very helpful. Thr room is most satisfied . Every time I enjoyed my breakfast there in hotel restaurant and enjoyed my drinking in cricket bar. I am regularly stayed at the Hotel Windsor when I come down to big smoking town for a few nights as I am from Gippsland bush. I recommend everyone to go to staying at the Hotel Windsor.
