Wow! Splendid Venice had a private pier so we hired a private taxi to take us from the airport straight there. The hotel was comfortable, the staff amazing, and we were just a few blocks from St. Mark’s Square! It was perfect!!!

After our last stay we needed some luxury. I would strictly advise you take the private water taxi approximately €100 because it’ll take you right to the hotel. If you take the public water taxi/water bus it will let you off on Rialto and then you have to walk up the Rialto bridge with your luggage to the hotel and walking up that bridge with any luggage will be a chore that you do not want to endure. If you have the money to stay at the splendid, you have the money for the private water taxi. The only downside is the room is small, but it is very luxurious. Everything was great amenities included robe, slippers, complementary bottle of wine, water. It was so far the best say we have had highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly appreciated the attention to every detail throughout our visit. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable.
The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere easily, making it so convenient to explore the city without needing transportation. The breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing with great variety and quality.
One of the highlights for our group was having two connected/shared rooms, each with its own bathroom. It gave us the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and space during our trip.
We also greatly appreciated the Murano Island tour that was extended to us. It was such a wonderful experience and became one of the memorable highlights of our vacation.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
