This property is definitely not a five star one. The amenities were old and very mediocre. The rooms were spacious but the whole corridor was slippery from water falling from the roof! They moved us to new rooms ; no water issues; but there was no doors to our shower! And there was some construction happening every day in the morning right above us for hours. Unless, we complained, it never stopped. The food was average and I don’t want to talk about the pool at all. The only positive thing in this property is its staff. They are the real five stars. Starting from the reception staff to housekeeping to the staff at the restaurant, they were all excellent. We will never go back ! It was a huge disappointment and we spend most of the inside our rooms reading!!!

Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either.

Our room at the Turtle was spacious, good and clean with a huge terrace with sea views. The pool area could have been cleaner and there was a shortage of sun beds and brollies. It was very easy to get to the beach by either hotel car or a tuk tuk was only INR 100. We spent most of our time on Lighthouse beach as at the left end, looking out to sea, there was an amazing snorkelling spot. Brilliant.

Courteous staff, good food, location close to beach

We were upgraded to the Honeymoon suite. Awesome view. Plenty of choices at the buffets. Short hike up hill to hotel, but you there are shops along the way.

Had an amazing experience. The sea facing duplex room that we opted for had splendid views. The staff members were very helpful and displayed professionalism right from the check in time. Highly recommended property to relax and rejuvenate.

We stayed for couple of days. There was a construction going on at the hotel, and they continued it past 11 pm. This was even after multiple guests made several requests and complaints. One of our neighboring guests, a senior folks were really uncomfortable with the noise, but rather than being understanding and halting the work, the staff manager was laughing. We were really surprised with the attitude. For a hotel, one would think that the guest’s comfort is of utmost importance. This place definitely belies that understanding. Food is strictly average. It was such a disappointment. We will never stay again.

Pool needs to be really improved, a lot of updates can be done, for example bath tub had scratches/peeling paint on them. Access to beach from hotel would be a plus.
