TBH, the Esplanade is our favourite place to stay in Freo. Always clean, always has easy access to things in Fremantle. Unfortunately we have had an accounting issue this time. We were asked at checkout if we had used anything from the minibar. We never do because it’s overpriced. Received an email with the receipt from our weekend stay and there is a minibar charge. Have tried a few times today to call and they don’t pick up the phone. Let’s hope the email gets seen.

Our stay there wasn't great. They were late to check us in . The shower broke , so that was unavailable in the morning. The coffee machine cord doesn't reach the PowerPoint's as they are very low. We had to put the machine on the floor to reach the power. The bathroom sink taps are in the wrong place and water goes everywhere when you wash your hands. And finally they charged us for minimal stuff that was never used. Very disappointing stay.

Large room with a balcony we couldn’t use due to weather but helpful because the windows are single pane and the road noise is high. Large shower with separate tub. There is a mini fridge and kettle for instant coffee or tea. The closet comes with four attached hangers but they will bring more if you ask. Not sure how the allocation of towels works but we had to ask to have facecloths delivered. No bar soap for the shower but attached liquid bath gel, shampoo & conditioner. There’s a guest laundry. Bedtime your credit card

Spacious room with nice comfy king sized bed. The bathroom has a large bathtub / jacuzzi, too. The breakfast was less than average for rather pricy $36 and coffee was not included. Hard to understand.

Nice location and staff were nice. Room are looking outdated and tired. Over priced for what you are getting compared to newer establishments in the same price range.

Room and bedding were fine. Clean and comfgortble. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast great.

Stayed here while attending a conference. Very convenient and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The hotel itself is a little tired HOWEVER the staff were absolutely wonderful. Shoutout to Asma on the concierge desk who helped me make mothers day special very last minute. Location is wonderful, overall would chose to stay here rather than make drive to Fremantle from Perth
