I read a previous reviewer who commented on how dark the walls were. I thought that was a silly comment, but now I get it. You can barely see 2 feet in front of you in the hallways as the lighting is so dim and the walls are painted blk or gray. Rather outdated furnishings, dirty carpets, and homeless people going in and out of the little tiny lobby area. The front door is supposed to be card access only but was never locked so anyone just wandered in. The lift was very tiny and barely could hold two ppl and a suitcase. Good location but loud. Seems to be a 20 something vibe that wod be comfortable staying there.

Clean room, staff fantastic, small issue in the bathroom with the sink very slow to empty. Apart from that a good stay. Staff really good.

The receptionist was very friendly but the hotel does not appear as it does online. Wallpaper was ripping off the walls, hair on bed, arm chair stained, and doesn't seem to be in the cleanest area. Lots of trash right when you arrive to the building all over the sidewalk. We did not end up staying here in the end and left after we weighed in other options.

Room was nice but very warm! Bed comfortable but very soft matress - fine for a night but prob not the best for your back for a longer stay. Only on street parking available.

Overall cleanliness was satisfactory -- property just a bit tired. Staff was excellent! Location was good for restaurants & shopping but city and merchants need to improve the Botanic area cleanliness -- a bit of a shock compared to other regions we had visited.

Clean room, great shower and the pub is fantastic. Good breakfast choices and the staff was very helpful and cheery. Great location to walk anywhere in Belfast

Our stay at The House Hotel in Belfast was a bit disappointing overall. The hotel was somewhat difficult to find at first, as there were very few clear signs outside the building. The main issue for us was the “king bed,” which was actually two single mattresses pushed together, with one noticeably higher than the other. It made sleeping uncomfortable and wasn’t quite what we expected when booking a king room. We also noticed some dark spots on the wall above the pillows that made the room feel less clean and well maintained than we had hoped. While the location was convenient, the overall experience didn’t fully match the price or expectations we had for our stay.
