Excellent customer service!!!

The room is cute and quaint, but you hear the music blaring from Loosie’s at night. Overall a decent stay

Too expensive for NYC standards

Check-In was easy. Liked how you selected your floor when calling the elevator. Rooms where clean, modern and large enough for two people. Our view could've been nicer; however it may have been quieter not facing the street. Nice bar/lounge area on the ground floor. Good neighborhood. I strongly recommend the Moxy NYC Lower East Side

Overall, I liked the hotel and my room. The elevators did not make sense. I needed to tap my floor number, then my room card, and the screen flashed which elevator to take. There was no indication that it was coming, and when I got on, there was no indication that I had done the process right. The room phone was fuzzy sounding. The room did not have many towels, so I had to order extra each night. 2 of the days, fresh hand towels were not replaced. The shower was handicap accessible, but that meant that the water spilled out into the rest of the bathroom. The shower curtain was getting moldy. The wire rack was pulling out of the wall studs. The rooftop was much harder to get to than it should have been. I asked the front desk how to get up to the top, and they said to take the back door by the elevators. I went to that door and was told to go outside the hotel and around to go up. Once I was at the top, there seemed to be a dress code I was not aware of. I liked the check in staff and bartenders.

This property is in a great location and if you are someone who likes a “boutique hotel” vibe, then this is gonna be your aesthetic. My biggest issue on the trip is that when I went to take a shower, the hot water was out. I ran it for 10 minutes to no avail and contacted the front desk and they had engineers work on it. It was apparently a bigger issue than just my room but by the time I absolutely had to start getting ready, the water was still only lukewarm. I asked for the “resort fee” to be deducted from my stay as it felt ridiculous to pay that when I couldn’t even take a hot shower and they accommodated that request. Overall that experience really left a bad taste in my mouth for how pricy the hotel is. The staff is kind and the rooms are clean and if you are wanting to experience Chinatown or little Italy, it really is in a great spot. I just don’t know if the issues with maintenance are a fluke or if they are more of an ongoing situation.

The bed was so comfortable! The staff were accommodating & so friendly from the front desk to the people at the door. It's the perfect stay in NYC! We loved it.

Seriously? Paper cups? Not even a glass in the room. And after day 2 they were not even replaced. Most of the customer facing staff in this hotel gave you the feeling that they didn’t want to be there or help you with anything. The shower leaked into the toilet cubicle. Otherwise, cool looking hotel. Cool elevator system that is extremely quick.

What an incredible experience! The staff is so AMAZING:) we love NY and feel like we have a home with amazing friends. Thank you Moxy Lower East Side. For an unforgettable stay.
