This hotel surpassed my expectations by a mile. It’s currently being renovated and I stayed in one of the new rooms and it was amazing. Brand new and so clean and well designed. Very comfortable bed and pillows which is nice. The pool is very large but the gym is a bit on the smaller side. Overall I was really happy with the hotel. The buffet is also incredibly big and delicious!

The room was nice, but not clean. It was clear that the floor had not been thoroughly cleaned when I got there, and later I encountered a cockroach. During my stay, the room was only cleaned after 2 days. No one thought to pick up even the room service platter. Also the parking lot on the 2nd level is in terrible condition. When I arrived, the attendant at the door was unhelpful. Reception desk staff were excellent though.

Room was dirty

Upon entering the lobby, there was a crowd of 30 people at check-in. Many angry and yelling . It was chaotic and check-in took over 40 minutes. And then there was a SURPRISE , i’ve been to over 50 hotels in Israel for years and I’ve never been told I must pay a VAT tax as I’m an American citizen. This payment through Expedia was made outside of Israel and I am an American citizen, but they insisted on spot to pay the 17% tax or lose the reservation. This is not acceptable. You have many other hotels that you can stay at in Israel without this nonsense. Best to stay away.
