Our stay at Lanta Miami was bliss. This is such a peaceful place and fantastic for a 3 star resort. We had a family beach bungalow and it was spacious with 2 king beds. Daily cleaning was really appreciated. The pool area does need a bit of updating but there’s so much shade and the pool is kept so clean. Being right on the beach was wonderful. We snorkelled immediately off the beach. The restaurant is great. We ate there almost the whole time as other places weren’t any better. You can get alcohol from the restaurant too. Local amenities good, walking distance to what you’ll need. We had stayed in Phuket the week before at a 4 star which was hugely disappointing. Lanta Miami was what we needed, chilled, peaceful and beautiful.

Great resort close to the beach. I was in the accommodation across the road which was fine for me and when I had luggage there was a golf buggy to shuttle. Fire shows at night, lovely outdoor setting on the beach and nice food. Clean spacious room and fantastic staff.

We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. I’ve been impressed with the amount of staff busily doing their jobs. As an early riser, I’ve seen them sweep the walkways, scoop the leaves out of the pools and sweep the beach daily. The staff helped us arrange day trips, car hire and laundry. But most importantly, they always greeted us with friendliness and made us feel extremely welcome. Our trip included stays in fantastic resorts in ko lipe and ko phi phi as well as ko lanta but it was here we felt and amazing connection to the people and staff. Sak, the manager, was really friendly to us and we had some great chats about life on ko lanta. I also had some jokes with the receptionists including Hah. And Pen, one if the owners was really fair with us when plans dictated we had to leave a day earlier than scheduled. In 4 days we hired a car and toured the whole island in a day, visited an ethical elephant sanctuary which was an unbelievable experience and got some well needed rest and relaxation time in. When we left earlier than breakfast time they made us a simple take away breakfast the night before! If you want to just relax in paradise definitely visit ko lanta and definitely stay at Lanta Miami! It’s a great resort and private sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the Thai streets. Wonderful. Had a small pool running in front of our room. Mattresses very firm.

We liked the location on one of the best beaches in Ko lanta close to restaurants and bars.offered good scooters to rent at 250 batt a day and laundry service.Nice pool but people left towels on bed at 7am and didn’t arrive until 11am.Also non residents were using the pool so was noisy.Nice mace but they need to monitor pool and not allow this to happen .our deluxe sea view room was on third floor with no lift and a view of bungalow stood tops and sky so not great

We found the resort to be clean, and well maintained, but the food being served in the restaurant was not good. The breakfast that was included was fine, but we didn't like any of the food that we ordered from the menu. We also found it a little isolated from other amenities.

Considering that this is a 3 star hotel, it’s really great! Located right at the Klong Nin beach. We booked rooms in the mountain wings, which is located on the other side of the road and separated from the hotel area. Still a good deal considering the price and that the rooms are new and clean, but it’s not sea front, which is probably why many guests stay at Miami. The hotel area is clean and the staff very friendly. The beach is great with few people on it. Only downside is the lack of shade, in the afternoon it’s impossible to find somewhere to sit if you don’t have a sunbed ( have to get up before 8am to reserve one) or want to hang out in the restaurant. This needs to be fixed somehow especially since the hotel expanded the number of rooms by building the mountain wing. The pool area is nice through and I also recommend the massage place connecting to the hotel area! I could imagine coming back but would book one of the sea facing bungalows.

Lovely beach front hotel. Very friendly staff. We had a wonderful sea view room. Great beach front restaurant and Love Bar. Will definitely return.
