- A 75 mintue ferry ride from downtown Auckland to Rotoroa Island
- Departs Auckland at 08:45am and departs Rotoroa Island at 5:15pm
- Explore the wildlife as the island is home to endangered native species, including kiwi, tīeke, takahē, pāteke and skinks
- Visit the heritage buildings at the heart of the island’s old community including the jail, chapel, school house and cemetery
- Spend a day relaxing on the beautiful sandy beaches have picnic or BBQ or walk the trail and exploring the regenerating native forest
- Please note there are no cafés on the Island, please bring your own food for the day and ensure you bring your waste back to Auckland.
