Lovely place an staff breakfast was amazing

The room was excellent

I booked Windermere as we had never visited the Lake District before. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t stop us from getting out and visiting the attractions. After looking around for places to stay, we booked Windermere Suites and we’re really glad we did. We would happily return. The host is such a positive and welcoming lady, of you drive an EV just let her know and you will be allocated the parking area with the EV charger. The suite was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. Breakfast was ordered the night before and delivered to the suite at the time you requested, which was a great touch. The breakfast menu was excellent – if you enjoy a big breakfast, I highly recommend the Full English as you won’t be disappointed. The fridges in the rooms are well stocked and the drink prices are very reasonable, not extortionate like you sometimes find in hotels. You simply pay for what you’ve used before you leave. The town of Windermere is only a 4–5 minute walk from the suites, and Bowness is around a 10–15 minute walk away, so there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. There are also lots of National Trust places nearby, so it’s worth getting a yearly membership like we did. Entry and parking are included at many of the sites you visit, which makes it great value if you plan to explore the area. There are also plenty of great walks nearb

Room neglected. Chipped furtniture, wallpaper pealing off the walls. Spa bath took up half the bathroom and did not look inviting, sink unit cabinet was broken. Over all not looked after. Receptionist became abrupt / rude when informed of above. Certainly not a setting for a relaxed / cosey weekend. Requested immediate refund . Did not stay.

The room was beautiful. Very comfortable and cozy - the perfect place for a break in the Lake District. Breakfast was delicious with the extra touch of luxury of being delivered to the room. Vicky was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place, rooms was very clean, really nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. With a fully loaded mini bar which had everything you needed for a lovely stay.

It was simply the most amazing room.. extremely clean and the most magnificent breakfast ever..

We stayed for 3 nights here in the Coniston suite it was very clean and spacious with a small lounge area for watching TV and a table and chairs to eat at. A very good breakfast was brought to our room each morning. It’s a few minutes walk into Windermere. Would happily return.
