Beautiful setting on the beach. The hotel is really nice, so clean, lovely apartments, fantastic location. The staff are all wonderful nice and helpful. The buffet has so much choice, and the food is really good and buffets are inexpensive. We never had a problem finding street parking. Easy to get into and out of area. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

This was an amazing property right on the beach. On a beautiful beach, the morning breakfast buffet was amazing, as was the dinner buffet. We basically parked our car and left it for three days while we stayed there. There was no need to drive anywhere. All the restaurants, bars, and beach outlets were all very, very close. Felt very safe for the kids to wander around and do their own thing. The rooms were very nice too. The staff were friendly. For us, it was three days of just amazing beach time. And the area is beautiful.

Cleaning staff works very hard. Gran Bahai is clean, clean, clean. Early in AM, staff are outside washing lounge chairs by the pool, sweeping & cleaning everywhere. Every day they replenished towels, TP, cleaned sinks & toilets & whatever needed doing. Small, efficient fridge was in room (non mini-bar stocked) to fill with your cold drinks. Pool was lovely, but quite small for a hotel of this size (2 buildings). There was also a lifeguard/attendant from 9:30am-6:30pm, who handed out towels. Some didn't care if there were towels on chairs with no one on them for hours on end, while others did and removed towels after about half an hour. It was usually challenging to get a chair unless you went out bright & early before lifeguard arrived. 6:30pm way too early to close pool when it's that hot (35-40C). Excellent breakfast buffet - pretty much anything you could want, except for oatmeal (or a hot porridge of some sort). They also offered a dinner buffet at 15 Euro per person. Each day they had a different roasted meat + cooked fresh fish for those who wanted it. It was a nice break from all the heavy fried stuff along the Boardwalk. Our room was right at the front facing the beach. We had a huge terrace which provided a lovely cool and welcoming breeze - worth the splurge. Staff very nice and accommodating. 4 Star? Not in my opinion. Our room had 1 uncomfortable molded plastic chair in it. We were there for 2 wks, so not ideal. Dresser for clothes would've been nice.

Everything was great. We chose to purchase a room that had breakfast included. Well worth it. Only thing I would request is to have coffee pods in the room for guest. Other than that everything was great and the staff were super friendly.

Staff very friendly, lovely hotel, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Bahia. We couldn't have wanted a better room, right on the sea front with magnificent views. Breakfast was included in our stay and was amazing, all fresh and loads of choice. We chose to have evening buffet a couple of times. Again, the food was excellent and extremely good value for money. I would recommend this hotel overall but there are a few negatives. 1) the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Fortunately, we had a car so went seeking beautiful beaches. 2) The area of the beach opposite the hotel is OK but not the best, however, if you walk along the front to the end of the strip, the beach gets much better near the dunes. 3) Parking is on the streets and not always easy to find a space. I can imagine it being a nightmare in main season. 4) The room was made up daily but never properly cleaned. Tea and coffee was never replaced and dirty glasses were just left for us to keep using the whole of our 11 night stay. However, towels were changed daily regardless of if we hung them up or left on the floor as per the instructions.

Perfect location right by the beach. The team on reception were exceptionally helpful giving us great local recommendations for food. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had an excellent range
