Conveniently located about a ten minute walk from the train and bus stations and just about anywhere else in Firenze, La Dimora degli Angeli is a lovely place to stay when visiting Firenze. We were warmly and cordially welcomed by Melody at the front desk and were lucky to be able to check in early. The rooms are bright and comfortable and even though breakfast is not served there, they have a common area where you can prepare coffee or tea. Unfortunately, our stay this time was only for one night, but we would definitely return and recommend it for a longer stay.

Loved it

A wonderful room in a beautiful Florentine apartment building. The building is very charming and situated just 2 streets away from the Duomo, giving you a great view. The ceilings are very high and it is wonderfully decorated. The staff were also very helpful, letting us check in early and leave our bags both on the arrival and departure day. The receptionist even gave us some good restaurants which were fantastic. The room itself was very clean, with a corner view and good storage and bathroom. We didn't opt for the breakfast option, but the coffee and water in the communal areas was welcome in the morning. The one thing I would say is that the instructions to find the place and call reception from the door could have been a little clearer. Overall, excellent though.

Great property in Plazza La Republica in the center of Florence. Spaceous with a great view. Reception separate from rooms with easy access to leave your luggage for convenience.

Ideally, my overall rating is a 4.5. The staff was fantastic and very helpful throughout our stay. The location was superb (just around the corner from the Duomo complex) and walkable to just about everything Florence has to offer. The only two issues we had with the property were: 1) the wi-fi was mediocre at best. It was never at full strength. And 2) two mornings the hot water never came on and were forced to take less than ideal showers. Other than that, we really enjoyed the B&B and would stay again.
