This rural hotel, full of charm and antiques, is located on the coast of Maine. It represents a great base from which to undertake excursions to the lake, mountains and the coast in Freeport in northern New England. This air-conditioned hotel comprises a main building and a neighbouring building, with a total of 84 rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which features a 24-hour reception, a safe, a cloakroom and lift access. There is also a library, a bar, 2 award-winning air-conditioned à la carte restaurants and a tavern set against the backdrop of beautiful gardens. Room and laundry services are also available (for an additional fee), as are car parking facilities. All the rooms are appointed in a neo-colonial style and feature the most modern conveniences, including an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV and Internet access. Further furnishings include an an iron and ironing board, a double or king-size bed and carpeted floors. The air conditioning and central heating can be individually adjusted. The hotel has attractive gardens, an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served every morning. Tea is offered in the afternoons at no extra charge.
