Love the aesthetic. Everything was available - including renting hair straightener. They even give you light morning breakfast and drinks. Helpful staff. Very zen!

Room is very small that I could not even my suitcase

The hotel was clean and the room was fine. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. We needed to do our laundry as we had been traveling for 2 weeks. Another guest had laundry in the machine from 9am and when I went to ask the front desk for help at 8pm, they said they cannot help and when I walked away, they laughed. They were also cold when we asked other questions and did not make us feel welcome. Will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Really nice modern room, only thing slightly letting it down is location but buses in Kyoto are easy

Room size was plenty for 2 people and location was very accessible with public transportation. Complimentary pastry and coffee in the morning at their lounge was a good perk. We were bit disappointed about cleanliness of the room. We felt that it was not as clean as it should be, perhaps due to Kyoto being one of the busiest tourist destination and having so many turn overs but floor (carpet tile) had multiple stains and part of the wall had a covering which seemed like a this board made out of cardboard or styrofoam which appeared to be a temporary fix to the problem they had on the wall. Also the shower room door was bit dusty, which isn’t a big deal but attention to small details would improve this place tremendously. Similarly, laundry room and machines could have used more frequent cleaning as well as their elevators. We only stayed two nights and checked into the hotel later at night so we didn’t bother complaining but the place could have been maintained better. Toilet bidet spray head could have been cleaned better as well. Both beds they had in the room were comfortable and overall it was decent place to stay, and for the price, it was good, but if cleaning can be improved this place would be perfect place to stay.

Clean room. Yummy breakfast, close to everything, family mart just a few steps away. And a very boutique hotel vibe to it. Love it! Just the staff as not as welcoming as other hotels we have stayed at.

Its central so it was easy to go around
