Tuyệt vời What a gem! This is the perfect home base for any trip to Florence for a couple. The location is just off Piazza della Signoria and close to everything. The Duomo is a 10 min walk, the Uffizi Gallery is one block over and Ponte Veccio is down the street. The place was clean and cool, which was needed as it was 100+ when we stayed. The host was so kind and we could drop our bags early to start exploring. Breakfast was this restaurant close by with stand up service of a pastry and cappuccino. Check out was easy and it was a 20-25 min walk from the train station. If/when we come back, I will definitely stay here again!

The location to the piazza was great and the cafe they work with for breakfast is very nice. The 2 biggest issues were the lack of any formal staff and noise. There was no one there to greet us upon check in- just a key and a room of security cameras. The most disappointing issue was the noise. Our room looked out at a side alley where trash and recycling were managed for the area and the dishes were washed for the neighboring restaurants. The glass being dumped into recycling bins, the trash deliveries/pick ups and the constant clamoring of dishes began in the very early morning hours and ran all day every day to about midnight. This made restful sleep very difficult and there was no relaxing in your room midday.

Room was very clean. Staff was easily accessible by WhatsApp. Great communication. Very cool staying in an 8th century palace. Great walking distance to everything.
Would not recommend bringing a car in. parking closest garage to hotel was 40 euros per day and not easy to find.

Hotel was clean and conveniently located. As stated in property description, you enter up a long stair case and there is no one present to help with luggage. Room was comfortable, however bathroom door was unable to be pushed completely open, making it difficult to move around it. Towels were not changed until requested and shower was thin plastic walls that frequently came off the tracks.

The carpet in the room is a bit worn. But the room is very spacious. The noise level is not too bothersome except for the garbage trucks in the morning.

Family-owned and operated. Limited rooms. Everyday they sent a message with suggestions to make the visit to Florence more memorable. Loved that they offered morning coffee take away at a local 4 star restaurant. Great opportunity to sample the offerings. It was thrilling to see 1600s paintings in the museums and could see the same little walk way to the Uffizi represented in those pictures. Perfect spot to pivot and visit all the must-see sights in Firenze! Will definitely be going back. Only challenge are the 2 flights of steep stairs to get to the living areas.
