It was delightful. We were so happy with everything including the vibe. Breakfast was above and beyond! Loved it immensely and would go back.

There is a lot to like about Milltown House, but there were a few major things that did strain our trip. I'll start with what we loved: Delicious, bountiful breakfast; some of the rooms are stunning and very comfortable; nice common areas, and friendly, fun Irish wolfhounds. We also appreciated that the staff accommodated our request to switch rooms. However, this brings me to what was difficult about Milltown: The rooms are not all equal, or even close. We were paying a premier rate (higher than their website lists, since we booked through Expedia) and our room was stuffy, with a very awkward spacial floor plan, no window (just a sliding door into a shared patio that was very uninspired). It was hot and airless and noticeably damp/dank. It was so uncomfortable we requested to switch rooms (and thank you so much for the staff for accommodating). Milltown House should mark down this room or upgrade it. Secondly, the parking lot does NOT accommodate all guests, when there's a full house. We came back around 11pm from Dingle one night to find no spots available and had to park on the very dark country road. The staff are doing their best, but they also seem stressed and are literally doing everything (reception, service at breakfast, housekeeping). We were locked out of the building during our room switch and there was no one ostensibly on the premises to let us in. It's also not really walkable to town, unless you're okay with a mile each way, no side walk part of the way.

The location was perfect, great view. Out of town but walkable. The room was spacious with great bay windows to look out at the water. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good. Loved the dogs and the beautiful horse next door.

Incredible room and view. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast spread included in room price. Accessible walk into town which took 25-30mins. They took the time to show us their birds of prey even though it’s off season and not usually open. Overall would recommend.

Lovely fresh breakfast on both mornings after a comfy sleep. Stephen, Ruby and Vito were fantastic hosts, they were very helpful, friendly and informative. Very cute boutique hotel and we would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place that’s has heart and soul. Both the building and our hosts have a unique character and charm which is a breath of fresh air. It is near enough to walk into town but far enough away to hear the birds in the morning! We will definitely stay again. Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend.

Such a wonderful stay, everything was quaint, bespoke and charming. The only thing we wished was that there was a way to hear the room a bit more. It was very cold and no one explained how to work the old fashioned radiator. But the bedding was warm and comfortable so that’s just a minor thing. The staff was SO kind! Highly recommend.

The location is away from the city center but it has beautiful views. The place is more like a big bed and breakfast. It is not luxurious as advertised. There is no one at reception until 4 pm. We realized a lot of the staff members were new. They were nice but during breakfast they did not know how to manage the coffee machine. They seemed to be nervous and struggling but again maybe it was just because they were new. Also the morning of our stay I received a message stating they didn't have a crib for our toddler, which sucked because he slept in bed with us and we didn't get any sleep. Also for breakfast they did not have a high chair. So overall I would say it is not kid friendly. We truly only stayed here because months ago when I booked the stay there was not much else available. If I ever come back to Dingle I would stay somewhere else.

We had the most wonderful time staying here. The lounge area is very welcoming and there was a cat and very large dog that made it feel cozy. The breakfast was lovely and the staff really made you feel like a guest and took very good care of anyone.
