Excellent customer service

My 2nd stay at a Maier hotel in Munich. Excellent value, clean, modern, comfortable completely helpful staff. Very convenient near the Hauptbahnhof. I like the slightly funky but safe and interesting neighborhood.

The staff was nice and helpful. There was water available all day, as well as, a nice espresso/coffee maker. Everything was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The only downside is the area around the hotel.

Overall, I would consider this to be an 'average hotel' regarding its accommodations, but I would not suggest staying here for more than a couple of nights. The rooms are quite tight, offering very limited storage space. My suitcase had to be placed outside the bathroom in a small hallway, requiring me to continuously move it around, and there were not enough hooks provided (suggestion: bring some 3M hooks with you so you can remove upon leaving). While open-air hangers were supplied, they were inconveniently located above the fridge and shelving units. Installing floating side drawers next to the bed and adding more shelving in the bathroom for toiletries would make a huge difference. Additionally, management should provide extra garbage bags and advise guests that they can leave them in the hall for staff to dispose of. I lived with an overflowing garbage pail for four days, though this was partly my fault for not asking the front desk staff, who likely would have provided me with bags. Nevertheless, the combination of tight quarters and lack of storage made our stay very uncomfortable. On a final note, I was hoping to experience authentic German culture and architecture on this family trip, but this location offered none of the traditional Bavarian charm, such as local pubs, eateries, and shops. There were some positive highlights. The front staff was incredibly friendly, the transit system was nearby, free coffee & cappuccino bar and breakfast was wonderful.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The coffee and tea are available all the time. The location is very convenient. A few minutes walking distance to the train station. Walkable to the important plazas. We had a very pleasant stay in Munich.

It was clean, conveniently located and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The only issue is that we could smell cigarette smoke in the room and hallways. We are non smokers and I suffer from severe allergies to smoke so I had difficulty breathing due to this.

Pros were that it was clean and comfortable with a good coffee machine in the lobby. Breakfast was expensive so we did not eat there.Convenient to train station, but not to the old town area. Cons were the neighborhood felt more middle eastern than German, lots of construction, would not have felt safe walking through if I had been alone or with another female.

The girl that checked us in was VERY helpful

Small hotel in the centrum of Munich. 4th floor room, ko noise from street. 10/10 brekfast, even with GlutFree choices.
