This hotel has some issues. First of all, the room's back door (sliding doors opening to a shared swimming pool just outside) didn't close properly -- it wouldn't close completely, always leaving a small gap in between... imagine all the little bugs and geckos that could crawl right through (it goes without saying this was actually a security hazard). In the end I switched to the room next door, but its door was only marginally better, and overall the room (especially the bathroom) was uncomfortable because it just felt poorly built -- the bathroom door squeaked, and the room had too many hidden corners for geckos to hide (you'd have to listen to them chant all night). there were also gecko poo and stains everywhere (on the bathroom counter, for example).

Hotels idéalement situé pour l’ascension d’Ijen (25min de voiture). Le guide a été excellent ! En revanche, la nourriture est peu qualitative, les chambres ne sont pas propres, une rénovation est à prévoir. La literie est convenable. Parfait pour se reposer quelques heures avant Ijen.

Excellent place to stay, very nice room, just a little issue with the shower, but the receptionnist gives us the key of another room to use the shower. Very good situation for few nights before climbing Ijen vulcano. The rooms are surrounded by a lot of very beautiful vegetation and trees, and our room was in front of a rice field. very peacefull and romantic place for nature lovers. Staff is very nice, gentle and with a very strong sense of service.

An excellent hotel in the most beautiful and serene location. A special mention goes to Kiky & Henry, the reception team, who went over and above their call of duty to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was a good spread. We stayed in one of the new rooms, which were very spacious.

A nice hotel situated perfectly for your trip to Ijen crater. The hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast options had a good variety. The rooms themselves were very nice with great views of the rice fields. Room service and anything I asked for while I was in the hotel was done very swiftly. My only concern was that the room could have used a little dusting and some concerns with responsiveness to my emails and calls before I checked in. We cleared all of the communication issues.
