Hotel Wawel is conveniently located in the old town and couple of minutes walk to the main square. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning was welcome in July and the rooms were very quiet. We used the free coffee machine and water dispenser on the first floor which was a nice touch and there was a wide choice of food to choose from at breakfast. The reception staff were helpful and booked our table at The Black Duck and organised our taxi transfers back to the airport. My only criticism was the poor lighting in our hotel room. Overall a fabulous hotel which I would recommend to anyone visiting Krakow.

I really like the electronic "do not disturb" button. It's a small thing but so nice. The room was spacious although the AC could have been cooler. It was very quiet but still close to everything needed. I would stay again.

Excellent hotel. This was the second time I’d stayed here. Nice rooms, nice reception area, good breakfast, free hot drinks machine upstairs. Great location. Would stay again but I’ve been twice now and I’ve pretty much seen everything in Krakow :)

Lovely old hotel in great location close to the old town. Great amenities and nice breakfast inclusion. Lots 9f nice restaurants nearby.

Hotel is perfectly located between the main square and Wavel Castle. It’s a stunning hotel with beautiful rooms. The decor is all period styled and really compliments the age of the hotel. However…. Apart from the man who initially checked us in, the staff are awful!! The most miserable staff I’ve ever seen at a hotel. No smiles, no politeness, no interaction…. Just bland and boring! Would I stay again, yes probably as the staff are just a small part of our stay. The location, the fixtures and fittings are all brilliant and I have no complaints on that side. Please teach your staff to speak to guests, a little smile and even a good morning from the stern faced breakfast waitress would go a long way to making the experience perfect. It’s good hotel, let down by miserable staff.

Nice hotel with comfortable big rooms, excellent, helpful and courteous staff and great breakfast. Located at walkable distance from Wawel castle, Krakow’s main square, museums and other tourist attractions. The hotel has a great restaurant with traditional Polish food, We ate there twice and liked it a lot. We walked everywhere didn’t catch Bolt except for a couple of times. I would stay there again.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Very close to all the things but on a quieter street. AC works well. Very good value for what you get.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wawel Hotel. The location is brilliant and a great space for exploring the Market Square and Castle. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend.
