The staff were lovely however when booked I was told by the information it was a room with a city view. When we arrived the view we had was the back of a bunch of buildings, gutters etc. When I asked if we could have the city view I was told that all rooms were booked. I was also told I should have expressly asked for the city view when booking. This seems weird when it was advertised as a room with a city view. Also, when we’re only there two nights, arrived in the evening and the birthday was next day and we wanted to wake up to the city view as promised, This was disappointing. Also, when I said it was a birthday to the hotel by email they said they’d sort something special but all we got was a hastily written note saying happy birthday. Not great at all. Luckily we spent most of the time experiencing Paris. Overall, hotel was a shame in an otherwise amazing time.

No air conditioning like the rest of Paris. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is also quite spacious. Friendly staff. Quite. Great location. Loved it.

Girls trip 2026 this was the perfect spot! Comfortable, charming, staff were great, the cat was wonderful. I’ll be back

We loved it here. The rooms are charming and the location is the best if you like the Marais and bring in the Center.

No AC; building don’t allow air flow. Pro

The staff were really good and operating in very difficult circumstances due to the extreme heatwave at the time and no aircon, but the hotel condition itself is truly 3rd world. I would warn anyone considering it to think again. It looks good on the net but in reality it is really poor. The owners are clearly focused on nil maintenance expenditure and it really shows. In fact I doubt they can even spell maintenance. At the least avoid room 201 which we stayed in. Location is OK but so are dozens of other hotels in the area. We stayed in 7 Italian / French hotels of a similar class during our trip. It was the worst by far in every respect of them all. Don't say you have not been warned.

We loved this place. The room that we stayed in was on the 3rd floor looking out over the street at the other older beautiful buildings. It definitely had the old French charm to it. Our room was very spacious. We were in Paris during one of the heat waves and it was brutally hot. They offered us the opportunity to go to a different hotel that has AC without any penalties but after we saw how awesome our room was we decided to tough it out with the heat. We had three fans in our room and it helped. Super convenient and wonderful neighborhood. Close to so many things and close to transportation. Great bathroom. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a fantastic experience here.

Great stay and great location

The prophase no air conditioner at all and it was 38 out side very very hard to sleep we had 2 fans but all they did was blow the hot air about

Muy buena ubicación. El Hotel no tiene aire acondicionado que para esta época se hace insoportable. Le falta mantención a las habitaciones.
