Good location, super friendly staff.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the location was perfect, however nothing else positive can be said. The rooms are disgusting, I am not a picky person or a germophobe but there was mold on the mirror, on shower curtains, no ventilation and the room literally smelled. No bed bugs but they don’t have real room service either, you have to ask them if you’re staying for long to clean your room.

For my first time going to Amsterdam this place was perfect for the price. Location was decent. Fyi for Americans staying here is this warning. They do not have air conditioning or fans. Im a stoic so this wasn't a problem for me. Just wanna let you know.

There was no kettle in the room, I think this is a European thing. No food and drink allowed in the room is a bit harsh, I assumed water was OK and the weather was quite warm. The staff were all friendly and professional. Nice residential area near nightlife and close to the market The bar looked really cosy, but closes very early. Lots of storage space. Excellent WiFi

This hotels cleanliness was absolutely awful. Other than that it was terrible. We booked for 4 nights and stayed for 1, not sleeping the whole night because of how itchy and dirty the bed was. There was human dna all over our sheets, the blinds, and the floor. You get two wash cloths and nothing else. Lobby is open for two hours. There’s black mold in the top of the room and bathroom, used tissues in the windowsill, and a big dildo under the bed. There was also human private part prints on the mirrors. Please save yourself

Great staff

Reception is open twice a day for about 2hrs. There’s no coffee or anything in the room but there is a kettle and a coffee machine for some reason. There was no shower gel and the bath towels are the size of tea towels. The room didn’t feel particularly clean and there was a massive hair on the back of the shower door. Must have been the cleaners day off, either that or she’s on strike. It’s a nice old typical Amsterdam building in a nice area If you like that kind of stuff. But it could do with some filler and a lick of paint. I presume the handy man is on strike with the cleaner. Or it might be the same person. I don’t know how they have the nerve to ask for a €100 security deposit, any damage would just add to the ‘character’. It has got a bar and a little bar area that looks decent to be fair. I’d love to tell you what that was like but it never seemed to be open. The location is decent, it’s only a short walk to a lot of sights and the girl that checked us in was nice enough. There’s signs up saying no food and drink, but they give you a fridge in the room to put drinks in? All seems a bit backwards to me. Anyway I’m no longer allowed to make decisions, now and I have to run it past the Mrs before I book anything in the future. This is the first review I’ve ever left, I’m normally not fussy but I draw the line at drying off with a flannel. For what you get it’s not worth the costs. Even if you think it’s fairly cheap

This hotel has an excellent location on one of quiet though beautiful canals of Amsterdam. The hotel owner and staff were friendly, hospitable and helpful. The entrance reception area is very nice. The room was functional and fine, though being in an older Amsterdam building the WC and shower was tight. I had a very good stay here.

It was an excellent stay in the lovely Amsterdam. Very cosy, well placed, and next to nice places to have rebuidling breakfast. Thank you for your services.
