I had seen online that breakfast cost $23 total when booking, but I hadn't selected it at the time, so I felt a bit regretful and wanted to take advantage of this deal. I double-checked: "Is it really $6.99? So two people would be $14?" She confirmed yes. Later, I asked again if it was indeed $6.99—just to make sure—and she said yes. I decided to go ahead and pay after eating. I don’t think my English is so poor that I couldn’t understand or misheard numbers. But the next day, after having breakfast, the charge came out to $16.99—far more than what I was promised. A meal like that isn’t worth even half that price. I’m not upset about the price itself; what bothers me is the suspicion that the front desk staff deliberately misled me, played with me. I feel extremely angry and disappointed.
