This was my third stay at Le Blanc, and unfortunately it will likely be my last.
The service, spa, and cleanliness remain excellent, but the food was shockingly bad for a resort that markets itself as luxury. Yama was one of the worst Japanese restaurant experiences I've had anywhere. The sushi was poor, the fried rice tasted like it had sweet BBQ sauce mixed into it, and we actually left dinner hungry. Bella was not much better. We spoke with multiple other guests who shared the same complaints.
The entertainment has also been stripped down compared to previous visits. Past stays included activities like painting classes and more organized events. This time there was very little beyond basic volleyball and occasional live music.
Le Blanc still has an amazing staff and one of the best spas in Cancun, but management needs to experience the food themselves and take guest feedback seriously. When guests are leaving a luxury all-inclusive resort to find dinner elsewhere, something is clearly wrong.
