Large room with very good amenities. Large lobby. convenient location: few minutes walk from train station. Excellent breakfast.

Great location, beautiful hotel, friendly staff

Lovely hotel with excellent front desk staff.

The breakfast in the main dining room is fantastic, the location is really great, somehow quiet yet tucked right in the middle of everything. The property is very well-maintained elegant and historic have been beautiful. This was a bright spot on my trip. I wish I was staying for longer.

My stay at Hotel Albani was definitely the least favorite part of my 10-day trip to Italy. The cleaning staff were nice and it was a quick walk from the train station, but the positives end there. Our room was very dark and hot. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast room was extremely hot and the food and coffee I had there was terrible. There is a nice courtyard and an indoor sitting area with a bar, but it is next to impossible to get service at either area. You have to go to the front desk and ask them to send someone to help you each time you want something. When there are 60+ people from a tour group trying to check in and packed in the lobby, it's a little hard to reach the front desk to ask for anything. The extremely heavy, metal keychain with key to the room was a pain and seemed dirty. You could leave it at the front desk every time you left the hotel, but then you had to get it from the front desk every time you wanted to go back to your room. There were multiple steps to get into the main lobby area, which was inconvenient with a 60lb suitcase. Customer service was subpar at best and so different from every other place we stayed in Italy. There are so many hotels in Florence that are conveniently located close to the city center. I highly recommend staying at one of them instead of Hotel Albani - I sure wish I had!

Fabulous hotel in a convenient location among the hustle and bustle of Florence. The staff was extremely nice, helpful, and the property was very clean and safe.

A wonderful place to stay

Beautiful property, one of the nicest we’ve stayed at over our three week journey!

Location is perfect. Breakfast is great. Bedding is soft. Keychain is very heavy so I only brought key with me when I went out.

Great hotel, a quick 15 minute walk to the center and all the attractions. A couple of express grocery stores nearby for those wanting a snack in the room. We were welcomed with a complementary bottle of sparkling wine and the breakfast was lovely. An affordable option in a very popular city.
