We are a family of four and have been staying at similarly-priced hotels across Northern Europe for three weeks. This was our favorite one. Good sized room, amenities perfect for us, including small fridge and kettle in room. Breakfast was fantastic. Don't wait until 9:15am to go down, as it goes from very quiet to very busy at that time. Great location, allowing us to walk to the center and Bygdoy quite easily. Very friendly staff, and complimentary coffee in lobby and room! All around highly recommended.

Very nice

Good for a quick budget stay, surprisingly good breakfast. Room was a bit too warm in the summer though. Good location. The "lounge" on the second floor needs a serious update.

I had a great room with a comfortable bed in a quiet part of the hotel. Breakfast was included in the price and they offered an extensive buffet including hot food. Hotel was located 100m from the nearest tram stop which provided regular services into the city centre. Highly recommend the hotel.

It was a good enough hotel

I enjoy using Thon Hotels because they have everything I want i.e. a nice bed, a shower with good pressure, a clean room and a decent breakfast. I got all four on my visit. This hotel is very close to Majorstuen, which is a bit of a transport hub, with frequent trams, buses and trains servicing the area. It's also within walking distance of Vigelund Sculpture Park and Frognerbadet. My one quibble - and it is a very minor one - is that the television in the room was temperamental and twice I had to speak to staff about it not working. It took a dozen or so efforts just to get it to finally show the Live TV menu and then it would only show one channel, which happened to be Danish. Very frustrating. It didn't spoil my trip and I would definitely recommend this hotel, which is a short tram ride from the centre of the City.

The hotel sign was a bit hard to find. Other than that, Everything was Excellent.

The breakfast is better than anything I have seen in North America so far!

The hotel was wonderful. Clean and spacious rooms accomodated our needs. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANING. Fresh and hot food with a great variety to choose from.
