Very good communication pre visit and during our stay to check everything was ok. Swift and easy check in with friendly staff, although could have been clearer that the tourist tax was a pre-authorisation only and would be taken at check-out. Added some confusion at check-out and unfortunately I overhead staff laughing at my concern that we had already paid. Nice room, clean, fresh and well maintained. Bed was very comfy and I made use of the additional pillow menu as prefer a soft pillow. Nice bar area and outside garden setting area, however outside chairs were a bit uncomfortable to stay for long. Suitable breakfast to fuel up for the day of sightseeing ahead. Good location, close enough to the train station, which meant we could walk there on our arrival. Also close to the river for a stroll down to the Ponte Vecchio, but quieter location in the evening so not kept awake by bars and tourists.

Rooms were clean. Fresh towels and made up room everyday. Loved having a breakfast included! Very close to the train station if you plan on doing day trips elsewhere too. Great stay!

Staff were superb, always helpful, polite and professional. Good breakfast. Clean room. Kit needs a bit of an upgrade.

Great location in a quiet street close to the station. Excellent inclusive breakfast. Bar could do with a bit more imagination to get you to drop in.

Clean room, attentive staff, excellent location

Initially they assigned a room that is inferior to the model of room I booked. They refused to give me a room and said the whole hotel was fully booked. However, there were still a number of rooms available online. They reassigned me back to the room I booked after we complained about the air conditioner was not working. The hotel looks much older and dirtier than it looks like on photos. Also the are surrounding the hotel was seemingly not safe. The toilet is smelly. There is only one free bottle of water on arrival, despite booking for few days there will not be replenishment. Staff members are not friendly in general. Variety of food in breakfast buffet is also quite limited compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. Overall it is really doubtful how it got 4 stars.

A truly memorable stay at a very special hotel, which I look forward to returning to one day soon.

Room was very clean, but the whole property is very outdated, the decor is dated and the area is not great. Breakfast was good, and the staff very nice and accommodating.
