Locating the room was a challenge and then to find it was damp and the smell was so masked with air freshener that it was almost uninhabitable was not pleasant

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in an Executive Studio. Asked for a room in a quiet location and got one, on the 3rd floor. We wanted to drop off our luggage early and got clear instructions on how we could do this when we requested it. We gave a 1 hour window of expected arrival and after buzzing at the front door we waited less than a minute for someone to arrive to help us. Were told we would get a message when our room was ready with entry instructions and that our bags would be waiting in our room. That all happened seamlessly and was very much appreciated as it allowed us to keep exploring for longer. The location is excellent, handy for both trains and buses (some bus routes required a bit of walking but no more than 15 min max). We had some issues with underground lines either not running (strikes) or severe delays due to track/signal issues but were always able to find a bus route to use instead. Due to our body clocks being slow to adjust on arrival far from home, we were awake extremely early each day and took to heading out early (6 am ish) to explore. We felt very safe in the surrounding area and on the tube at that time of day. The apartment had everything we expected/needed, the only improvement would be a mirror where the hairdryer is used 😀 We never did find the office but using WhatsApp worked well to communicate and we were able to arrange storing our luggage at the end of our stay that way. We used the laundry too, no issues there. We loved our stay.

At this property, there is no front desk (which may present challenges for travelers desiring a hands-on hospitality experience) however the host is responsive to emails and the cleaning staff was always willing to help with any questions. The property is very close to Russell Square, the British Museum and other great spots in the Bloomsbury neighborhood. Although the rooms are on the small side, they are clean, modern and comfortable. The property also offers free washer/dryer services which is a great touch.

Really enjoyed my stay. Room had everything I need (including air con) and clean. Location was excellent and very convenient. Check in process was smooth. Easy access at all times. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Pros: pretty well decorated, A/C, clean, nice staff, nice neighborhood location near tube and lots of restaurants Cons: no signage on the outside of the building so was confusing (we were saved by a staff member walking by), no nespresso, no breakfast on site but there is literally a wonderful bakery in the same block on the other side (and there were Biscoff cookies on site), if light sleeper it may bother you to hear people clearly walking around above

Really impressed, I stay in the area twice a month for work and this might be my favourite place yet. Clean, quiet and great value for money. I’ve already recommended it to colleagues! I will definitely be back.

Very convenient location and clean room! Would recommend :)

This was a great location for us to explore London. Don’t miss the bakery on the backside of the hotel called Fortitude! You will never see an actual person. Everything is done online. Very clean and modern and even classy! Our room was extremely clean, very large and bright. Decent bed. We appreciated having free washer and dryer available as we were on an extended trip. Having a kitchenette was great especially the little fridge. Very, very quiet at night. A block from the British museum and the tube.
