Found bed bugs in my bed was told I would get a refund never got it if your thinking about staying here because it’s cheap think again the breakfast was awful and the rooms look like they are 100 years old.

Room a bit worn, Great pressure in Shower. Aircon was controlled by knobs and was mounted high up on wall, so chair was required to set temp.1 block from Metro station, 2-3 blocks from beach.

Great staff but room poor

Room was not to bad, but it could be more clean. All others areas on the property also could be more well maintained. I only stay 2 nights from my reservation and then i moved to another hotel.

Staff was absolutely amazing, and really made our whole trip perfect. Can’t wait until we can come back to Rio!!

Helpful staff.

I upgraded the room two times and had to pay $500 more. The room was extremely dirty. There were sands on the carpet from possibly previous guests at all times that they haven’t cleaned. The room was smelling like pee as well. I had to buy a room spray to change the smell. There were also broken items in the room. It was a horrible stay. You have to reevaluate your rating system. I trusted Expedia here but never again.

Excellent all around. Friendly staff, clean room, very professional. World class!

Has all the issues mentioned by other reviews – very dated and poorly maintained, rubbish wifi, not particularly clean, noisy AC. But the rooms are of a good size, staff friendly, nice breakfast and a convenient location a couple of blocks from the beach. For the price it probably warrants more stars, but the kicker was they downgraded my booking from a suite to a cheaper standard room without telling me, so didn't have the features listed in the advert – balcony, extra space, etc. So I didn't even get what I paid for

Good
