Great hotel, very clean, good location. Our issue was just with the AC - there is no AC in the room and we visited the hotel during one of the hottest weeks in Europe.

Had to wait a while at check in while a male member of staff was on his phone, we assumed this was doing something work related but as there were so many people in the lobby it was strange nobody was called forwards. Another tourist then stepped forwards to him where he helped them, which was annoying as we’d been waiting a little longer. Woman on reception was very helpful and smooth check in process. Room simple. Toilet hugely irritating for anyone over 5’10 unable to close the door without knees being against it, plus the door just closes you can’t prop it open at all. Bed doesn’t allow enough space to comfortably walk past towards the window causing several bruises during our stay! We aren’t particularly clumsy! Shower decent and spacious sink and mirror. Not the most well ventilated room could’ve been a lot better. Comfortable bed though and room did the job.

great staff and location

Room Is a little bit small, but all was very clean. Staff was nice and helpful. We had no breakfast but coffe was for free. Parking was ok, extra fee. All over was very nice walking distance to bar and restaurant, close to the Lugano lake.

Staff were not friendly and we felt uncomfortable at check-in and asking questions during our 2 night stay. Buffet breakfast was good. We knew it was an Ibis budget hotel but there is no privacy for anyone in the room to go to the bathroom or shower. Barely enough room for carry-on sized luggage. I would not recommend for anyone travelling with full sized luggage.

Perfect for overnight stays.

The breakfast buffet was really nice, and the coffee was wonderful.

Spotless room, friendly staff, great breakfast

Everything is very basic and very small- room, shower area. The sink is by the room and separated by a curtain only. No space for toiletries or toothbrush. No conditioner. But its clean, in a good location and have excellent breakfast
