The Hotel was well located for access to the amenities in West Bridgford and Trent Bridge cricket ground. The room (No. 7) was comfortable but had limited ventilation. Even with the (small) window open, the room was rather hot and stuffy and the provided fan only helped a little. All staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was good, but only limited continental options for my Gluten free wife. However, the evening menu was excellent, providing good GF options, and the food was well-cooked and very tasty. We would definitely consider a return visit when next in Nottingham.

The entire complex was immaculately clean and fresh. The staff were welcoming on arrival and during our stay. The facilities are exceptional as was the breakfast, more than adequate and food quality was superb. The only (very) minor negatives are: The car park is not clearly displayed as being for patrons of the hotel leading to some confusion on arrival. The sofa bed I slept on was as hard as a rock, not very comfortable to be perfectly honest. However, on the whole, an exceptionally good hotel which I would stay in again.

This would probably be fine in normal circumstances, but the bedrooms do not have aircon and during the heatwave it was like trying to sleep in an oven. They did give me a bottle of water and put a pedestal fan in my room but all it did was blow the hot air around the room.

NO SOAP in the showers leading into the spa - disgusting. If I want to have a shower post-spa, there's no body wash or proper handwash around. Not very hygienic. The jacuzzi wasn't working - that's part of the reason I booked here. Not good enough in the summer frankly otherwise don't advertise it and over-promise if you can't maintain it, there's no excuses if you bait people in using that and then have a does not working sign, frankly I'm entitled to money back for false advertising. I was put on the second floor in a really baking hot room - there's no AC but even the fan is not ideal, quite old school and noisy. Struggled to get good sleep. Pillows are so-so you need to mix it up between soft and firm. Even in the room no body wash! Only a meagre bar of tiny soap. Not enough towels in the room.

Free parking and wifi, easy to access, very nice little hotel. Staff were superb and food also very good.

Food, staff and on site facilities were all excellent. However, I was in room 35. It has a fixed pane window. There is no way of letting air flow through the room whatsoever. I really don't think this is acceptable under environmental health. There is no air conditioning unit or extractor in this room. A fan is provided, but all this does is move the hot air around. At night, there's no way you can let cooler air into the room whatsoever. It's the same stuffy air, heated up by the sun during the day. A farm environment has to provide adequate ventilation for animals in sheds/barns. How does a hotel a hotel get away with this for human beings? What about a fire escape?

A fantastic stay with brilliant amenities. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, which were very quiet. Great staff, polite and engaging and a special shout out to the guy behind the bar on Friday night - 10/10 customer service skills!

Gym needs to open at 6am Breakfast was ok but no staff on Overall. Great location. SPA needs a bit of TLC Would stay again but not as upmarket as it portrays itself
