The property is wonderful! It is like staying in an art gallery. The rooms are very comfortable and I recommend ordering the breakfast from the menu.

Outstanding in every way. Amazing property, spotless room, comfy beds, fun and friendly staff, and inspiring repurposing of a historic space. We have already booked our next stay!

The Place is spectacular with heritage mixing modern living. Very spacious and delightfully decorated. I worked in many hotels and I would still want to stay in this hotel next time. Richardson is classy, special, and carries well trained staff. My kids also thinks it looks like the Harry Potter castle. Only Richardson is more modern and not as big as it seems. Would be even more perfect if the other construction and buildings nearby are functional giving a more fuller community. Now the hotel is quiet at night. There aren't much amenities to be honest but it is perfect for a quiet getaway or buddies gathering for night-long catch up as there are many common areas that are like a high end restaurant.

Loved the property! Beautifully restored. The front desk staff was not very friendly … It was like pulling teeth to get information from them. The lady in the restaurant was serving everybody and super fun! The gym was not that great too… However, the property was amazing and I would definitely stay again and recommended to all.

Great ambience. Clean rooms … helpful staff. Beautiful room windows and rec areas including outdoor spaces. Will def stay again. The history is rich and plentiful too with a great spot just a block away for grabbing a bite to eat and / or a drink too!

An amazing hotel, clean and well run. Location is excellent for downtown , museums, parks and restaurants. You won’t be able to stay in anything like this magnificent building so give it a stay. You won’t be disappointed.

The Richardson Hotel is a beautiful historic architecture to stay in and will definitely return here each when we are back in Buffalo, NY. The room and amenities are clean and the hotel staff are very helpful! The fitness center is small with only a few treadmill working, a decent dumbbell selection (up to 50lbs pair) and medicine ball, and a multi-pin loaded machine for workouts. It’s functional for a vacation workout. Though it does get tight when more than 3 people are in the space trying to get an exercise in. The bar is also great and if you’re lucky enough to have Nat as your bartender, you’re in for a charismatic and personable treat. She makes a great drink and is so attentive to what you need. She even remembers her regulars that go there and our drink and food choices when we went again the next day. She ran that bar like a boss and her customer service is top notch! I would go back to stay at Hotel Richardson or really just to go to bar if Nat is my bartender. In addition to this, the food is also surprisingly good! The pizza crust, the dessert brownie, and also the crispy buffalo wings and sauce are “chef’s kiss”.
