We had a really nice time at the resort the people were friendly and helpful, particularly on the excursions. Lots of young people, many of them inexperienced, and that showed up a little bit at the restaurants. Some super nice workers, but in some cases not terribly efficient or quick.
The property is beautiful, although in places it feels a little worn at the elbows and not five-star tidy. Overall, it was more solid than spectacular in that regard.
Food too was good, not great. I know I’m sounding picky – our vacation was great – but this place could be next level with a bit more attentiveness and TLC.
At a place like this, with nature perpetually converging in, somebody should be cleaning at all times. That’s a tough task at a large property, yes, but you would see that at a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton.
That said, we came away with some great memories and new friends.
