I rarely leave negative reviews, but after a seven-night stay, I feel obligated to share my experience. I booked a room with a king-size bed and was given a queen instead. While disappointing, that was minor compared to the real issues. Our room was directly in front of the elevator, and we were repeatedly awakened throughout the night by guests coming and going. The biggest problem, however, was that the air conditioning did not work. The room remained around 30°C (86°F), making it nearly impossible to sleep. After the first sleepless night, we reported the issue. We were repeatedly told it had been fixed, but it never was. Several fans were provided over the course of our stay; some did not work, and one turned out to be a heater. Every day we spent enjoying Paris was followed by another miserable night of heat, noise, and interrupted sleep. What made the situation especially frustrating was that this continued for nearly the entire stay. Rather than moving us to a room with functioning air conditioning, the hotel repeatedly assured us the problem had been resolved when it had not. We even witnessed another guest complaining about the same AC issue. By the end of the trip, exhaustion had significantly impacted our experience in Paris. The manager offered a 10% discount, but the issue was never about money. The lost sleep, discomfort, and frustration cannot be refunded. A hotel’s primary purpose is to provide a comfortable place to rest, and unfortunately this hotel failed.

I’m leaving this review because the check-in experience put a damper on our first day in Paris. After a long flight from California, my family of four arrived exhausted and ready to start our vacation. While the front desk agent was pleasant, the manager became hostile when she realized we were a family of four. The issue wasn’t the hotel’s occupancy policy—it was how it was handled. Instead of discussing options calmly, we were told to contact Expedia, find another hotel, and that they would “do us a favor” by only charging one night if we left. The interaction felt dismissive and lacking empathy, especially after traveling with two young children. We ultimately paid extra and stayed. The room was clean and the location convenient, but the poor customer service left a lasting impression. I hope management treats guests with more courtesy and professionalism when resolving booking issues. Would not recommend this hotel for families and would definitely not be back.

Lovely tea, coffee and treats for guests in the afternoon 2-6? Complimentary! Room is typically European size, don't over pack! Good location for Rue Cler, and Eiffel Tower.

The staff was my favorite part of this property. Everyone was super kind and helpful. This is especially true for the gentleman working the nightshift hours. We had many questions and inconveniences for this man, and we was nothing but courteous and extremely helpful. I can't express enough gratitude.

Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and a lot of food areas! Would recommend to anyone!!

It was a small but impeccable single room. Everything I needed for a couple days on my own in Paris. Quiet room and neighbourhood but close to all the things I wanted to do. Nice staff.
