Great breakfast, clean rooms, excellent staff.

Clean room, although new grout line needed around bathtub. Front desk staff wasn’t friendly.

The ice machine was not working on any of the floors it was available to. I had incredibly noisy neighbors next door. They kept me up well into the early morning hours and even knocked on my door, I'm assuming accidentally at one point.

We were staying at the hotel due to an early morning flight at AUS. Great location to stay as it was close to the airport; however, we were put off by a few things. Front desk worker was not friendly and looked like he had just rolled out of bed. The hallways were hotter than a sauna and the room was colder than a freezer. The elevator made interesting noises as we travelled to our floor both coming and going. The front desk worker in the morning was also not friendly as he seemed annoyed that I pulled him away from his cell phone to check out to get to my flight. I chose this location as it was decently priced and close to the airport. I was not interested in a higher priced location to be there for only a few hours. Unfortunately, next time I will pay more and stay elsewhere.

The rating is due to issues we found with our room. The best this hotel has is the employees. Very helpful and tried to resolve our questions requests and issues as fast and good as possible. The issues are more related to the poor maintenance. Not sure if lack of budget as maintenance parson help us promptly with other issues. On arrival we noticed the shower rusty, the soap holder broken and the ceiling with signs of previous leaks. Bathroom doors need a good paint coat. A Cockroach was in the room (same for other family member room) Again, employees are great and helpful. Beds were clean. Breakfast was good and shuttle on time and driver was friendly. Owner should make physical improvements as age is showing around. Elevator, side access doors, etc.

The staff were helpful and friendly. You have to call this location to alert them if you need an airport shuttle. They don’t just run every 30 minutes. The hotel itself feels as if it is run down. There was a very noticeable mold smell as soon as you began to walk down hallway towards rooms. The smell was very prevalent when entering the rooms. My exterior wall mounted HVAC unit was stuck on high and could not be shut off. Due to the fact that I had a late arrival that evening and was leaving fairly early the next day I just dealt with it. The next morning I noticed that the breakfast was extremely minimal for a La Quinta hotel. I stay at La Quinta hotels quite commonly all around the US. This particular location was one of the worst overall experiences I have had. I fly in and out of the Austin airport often. If I ever need to stay close to the Austin airport in the future I will definitely pick another hotel for my stay.

One of the outside doors was too accessible to get access inside the hotel without using the key which in my opinion is a security issue
