No elevator, near San Marco. Good breakfast. They keep luggage for you.

We har a lovely one byggt stay. The only thing was that our room wasn’t in the hotell but in a different buildning up the street. Out room was facing the street and the restaurant in the street was serving people alcohol until 2am. So we didn’t get a good night sleep! Breakfest was typical italian, okay. The staff was really helpfull and service minded. The room was clean and really had that venician feeling. We racommend Hotel Lux!

Beautiful vintage building. It was well maintained and clean. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Full of relics of the past like the bathroom phone.

The hotel room was comfortable, but needs to at least change things to make it look better. Shower curtain was dirty, smelled like urine everytime I will take a shower (gross) and bathroom curtain was dirty and had black mold on it. Bathroom tub had rust on it and bathroom tile had a big crack on it. Air conditioning was not working properly and 2nd night I had to turn it off due to squeaky sound all night long and couldn't sleep because I couldn't stop sweating. The nightmare started on the 3rd day that we left early to visit Murano and Burano and when we came back our room was a wreck even we asked for no housekeeping service. We found the window and curtain totally opened after we left it locked and the bathroom was totally dirty even though we left it clean. Toilet was used and dirty, sink and bath tub rim were dirty like some sewage came out of the drains, the trash can was moved to the corner like some took the trash bag out and kicked the trash can and the shower head was out of place laying in the middle of the bathtub. I panicked and thought that somebody entered to steal my stuff, but my computer and other belongings were intact. We asked the reception for an explanation and 3 different people couldn't tell me what happened and didn't offer any solution for this or even offered to send somebody to clean the room. I had to use Clorox wipes to at least disinfect my toilet so I can use it until next day. I definitely will not come back!

The air conditioning was alright, but rather limited. The beds are rather uncomfortable and the pillows are far too flat, but it sufficed for a few nights. Don't expect comfort if you come here, just convenience (located well, just 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco and the vapretto stations)

L’emplacement est formidable, près des attractions et restaurants. Par contre, nos lits étaient très inconfortables, le réfrigérateur ne refroidissait pas vraiment et la climatisation ne refroidissait pas la chambre très bien.

Really nice hotel, with beautiful interior wood work, and lovely wallpaper, and curtains in the room we stayed in. Everything worked great and was very clean. The staff accommodated an early arrival, stored our bags, answered every question, and made coffee for us when we left way earlier than breakfast time. Centrally located and a neat hotel for a very reasonable price, we'll be back for sure.

Breakfast doesn’t even qualify as breakfast! Stale croissants and yoghurt. nothing else! Deplorable. Carpet torn and old Rooms so small you can’t even open a suitcase. Staff barely acknowledged us. Water leaking from ceiling in the “lobby” of you can call it that. No elevator ; lugging suitcases up three flights was not pleasant. Would not recommend

I got eaten up with bites. They might change the sheets but not the blankets and bedspreads. Disgusting. Most of the outlets in the room were broken as well as the side of the bathtub. The breakfast attendant is very rude. Had I known the €10 additional for breakfast would only be cereal, out of date yogurt and stail croissants I would not have wasted the money. Not worth it. They need to clean their espresso machine. All the coffee beverages tasted horrible.The only positive about this place is the location. Definitely not Lux.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few short minutes from the San Vaccaria water bus station and also next to a lovely strip of restaurants and bars. The only negative is that the hotel is a little tired looking and breakfast choices were limited but i would still book again.
