The staff was amazing. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is great. Food is amazing. Definetly worth.

It’s a historic building, so there is some noise from the floors and the soundproofing isn’t great, but the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly and the place is clean.

Great hotel . Close to Oxford centre with private parking. All the staff were very friendly. Nice cosy bar and good food. Would stay again.

All was good and a very nice hotel. The only issue is the room was not available until 4pm. Seems quite late to me. We were due out that evening so had a bit of a rush to get ready.

Breakfast was not up to the standard of other hotels visited recently. Coffee was not good & offered with no choice of hot milk. Range of healthy breakfast food was limited. There are no lifts although reception staff carried our bags up to our second floor room. Our room was rather small and rather hot as there is no air conditioning. We found an electric fan in a draw and this made the overnight temperature bearable. Rather old fashioned decor. Plenty of car parking was a plus point but overall the hotel did not live up to our expectation given the price and breakfast was extra.

The hotel was easy to find with ample parking on site. The room was quite small but clean and well serviced. It was a very hot day and there is no air conditioning in the hotel and the small fan in the room was just not adequate to keep the temperature down. Something more powerful was needed that day. Otherwise, the hotel was excellent for our overnight stay.

This hotel was a real find. Delightful, comfortable, well equipped and well priced place to stay within reach of central Oxford. Lovely ambience in the bar and an excellent breakfast.

Great hotel. Staff are exceptional: always welcoming, helpful and polite.Breakfast was great: served quickly and decent choices. There is plenty parking at hotel so you don’t have any distance to walk with luggage. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel where the buses are frequent and drop you in the town centre or you can walk the 20 minutes. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. The only downside was visiting during a heatwave as the room was exceptionally warm and the fan was an essential addition to the room although air conditioning would have been great. The service from the staff in this hotel is the best.

Great staff, accommodated room on the ground floor because of a fractured ankle. Room and bathroom were a little outdated but served its purposes.
